RFQ = Request For Quote

The RFQ functionality can be utilised to request and obtain price quotes for a specified asset before executing a trade or asset rebalance.

This functionality on DAPL facilitates enhanced risk management by minimising market impact and increasing transparency to support the selection of the most competitive offer available on different market makers.

In order to conduct an RFQ on DAPL, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your DAPL profile.

  2. Select the "Orders" dropdown on the menu and then select the "RFQ tab":

  3. Once RFQ has been selected you will be able to request a quote by selecting the below “New RFQ” button:

  4. Once this button has been selected, the below pop-up will be received:

  5. Utilising the values that you have populated in the above fields within the pop up, you will be able to generate a price quote for a specific trade value, click "Get RFQ"

  6. The image below depicts how the quote will appear once you have selected the “Get RFQ” button.

    📝 Important note: The generated quote is time sensitive and the RFQ values received will expire due to market fluctuations. As seen in the above image the “Accept & Trade button” will state (expired) if the RFQ values have since expired since your initial request, in which case a new RFQ can be generated.
